St. Charbel was a Lebanese Catholic monk and hermit revered for his profound spirituality, asceticism, and miraculous healing abilities. He entered the Lebanese Maronite Order and pursued a life of deep prayer, rigorous self-discipline, and strict ascetic practices in the Monastery of St. Maron in Annaya, Lebanon.
